Old names, new names running for Liberal nominations

This is my attempt to make as an concreate list of Liberal candidates, and rumoured candidates so far in non-held ridings.

Upcoming nominations with no candidate information I could find:
-Rivière-des-Mille-Îles
-Beauce
-Alfred-Pellan (I was suprised I couldn't find anything on this, as it is a fairly winnable riding, I think we came within 10% of it, and with Liberal numbers in Quebec up, it is definately on the target list)

Other rumoured non ex-MP/candidate names:

-Former Bank of Canada governor David Dodge (probably somewhere in Ontario, perhaps a safe Toronto seat if any incumbant retire)
-Soon to be former Assembly of First Nations National Chief Phil Fontaine (probably somewhere in Manitoba, possibly Churchill)
-Retired CHCH-TV anchor Dan McLean in Ancaster – Dundas – Flamborough – Westdale
-Former provincial Liberal cabinet minister Jean Leclerc (given his Quebec City background, possibly a QC area riding, Louis Hebert possibly)
- Hamilton lawyer Andrew Iler in Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale
-City councillor Andrew Gill in St. Catherines
-Former Liberal National Director Steve McKinnon in Gatineau
-Former ADQ turned PLQ MNA Pierre-Michel Auger in Trois-Rivieres
-Riding President Jean Boulet in Trois-Riveriers
-Local employment centre director Nathalie Diamond in Trois-Riveres

-Former Party President Doug Ferguson in London West

If anyone knows of any one I omitted, or anyone who is no longer running, let me know

William, Can you find anything for Perth-Wellington (ON)? Sandra Gardiner was the candidate in the last election. Gary Schellenberger was re-elected. This a Con stronhold.

Penlan-

From what I have heard at least, Sandra Gardiner is undecided if she will run again.

Paddy Torsney is running again in Burlington (MP from 1993 to 2006).

I also believe that Larry Dianni (former mayor of Hamilton is running again.) He was the moderator at the Ignatieff town hall in Hamilton in April.

I see you ditched the bag for the scarf. Nice to hear you're not politically dead.

If David Dodge was going to run in a seat in Toronto vacated by a retiring MP, I don't know who that would be. However, I have a list of Toronto MPs (all Liberals) who I think SHOULD retire, because either they've been there too long, or are just hanging around to collect a pay-cheque.

Joe Volpe (Eglinton-Lawrence)
Jim Karygiannis (Scarborough-Agincourt)
John Cannis (Scarborough Centre)
John McKay (Scarborough-Guildwood)
Derek Lee (Scarborough-Rouge River)
Alan Tonks (York South-Weston)

The last four are mostly guys who've been there long enough and have reached their career pinnacle, while the first two are just collecting their paycheque and making sure they get a fat enough pension upon retirement.

Anyway, good list. I may bookmark it or something for quick reference.

Bro-

John McKay has been put in charge of faith-group outreach by Iggy, so I think at least he will stick around. Also jeez, what do you have against Scarborough :P

Just a note - Cumberland Colchester Musquodoboit Valley has not yet had a nomination meeting so Tracy Parsons is not declared.
