Hopefully, things like this can show that Dion's leadership of the party is in command, particularly given that the GTA is the powerbase for Rae, Ignatieff, and Kennedy. The annual meeting is a good step forward to ensure a connection between the Leadership and the grassroots, and combined with the upcoming LPC-O AGM, should be a good step forward in ensuring party unity and renewal.

So... the Liberal riding presidents in the GTA won't go on record against the party, and that's news?
You're going to have to try harder.
I guess you have to grab on to any glimmer of hope when you are a Liberal supporter these days....
Kind of sad really.

I think the media has focused too much on our troubles in Quebec and less on the scene in Ontario. Most polls show we have held our numbers in Ontario meaning we wouldn't lose more than a few seats in the worse case scenario while in the best case scenario we could regain several close ridings we narrowly lost last time around. Sure things aren't going great in Quebec, but all our seats are pretty much in Montreal, which I doubt will go Conservative anytime soon and won't go Bloc Quebecois if it didn't during the height of the sponsorship scandal. Never mind we have a very good chance of gaing seats in Atlantic Canada and Western Canada which our regions Harper has been outright hostile to in the former, while ignored in the latter.
